| Leona was named for her strength in adversity. She was one of 8 pups born free in a mountain village and cared for by a local woman. Someone did not like the pups being there and when they were 6 months old they were poisoned. 4 died, 2 pups were saved and 2 disappeared/are unaccounted for. Despite this tragedy, Liona is a lovely girl – very friendly & also fit and healthy. She is now happily in foster care. She is good with people and other dogs. She will need to learn to live in her home – but she is a brave and clever girl who takes everything in her stride. Her sister Allisa is also available for adoption |
