Mila is a young female puppy, approximately one year old, with a sweet and confident personality that continues to blossom every day.
She was found on the streets near of Kambos around Christmas time, desperately searching for food. She would chase people, hoping for something to eat, but was too scared to let anyone get close and would run away when someone tried to help her. When she was finally brought to safety, it was clear that she had been around humans before, but without any love. Thankfully, with patience and kindness in her foster home, and in very short time, Mila has made wonderful progress and is now comfortable and trusting with people around her.
Mila was taken to the vet, where she was checked thoroughly — no microchip was found. The vet could tell, she most likely was dumped recently do to her condition. With the help from MIAO she will now recieve her microchip, vacinations and be neutured.
In her foster home, Mila is adapting beautifully. She is not afraid of cars or everyday noises (fireworks were however new, but she took it as a champ) and walks nicely on leash. She loves being part of a pack and happily copies the behavior of the two large dogs she lives with, learning quickly from them. However she is also an independent little girl who gladly explores herself.
Like any healthy young dog, Mila is full of energy, curiosity, and joy. She is learning the basics of home life and enjoys exploring everything around her. And she loves a cuddle. Home-alone training has been started, and she is gradually learning to feel safe and relaxed during short periods on her own.
Mila is very easy to handle and enjoys human care — bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, and having her paws, teeth, and whole body handled are no problem for her.
Mila a loving, resilient puppy who is ready for a forever home that will continue her training, offer guidance, and give her the love and security she has been waiting for.
